We didn't start with a massive factory or a boardroom strategy. We started in a small shop with an obsession. It was just us, a few slabs of local Ontario hardwood, and a lot of noise. We fell in love with the hidden character inside trees that others had discarded. What began as sawdust and late nights quickly turned into a pursuit of perfection. We realized early on that we weren't just building furniture; we were rescuing history.
The Hunt.
We don't just order lumber from a generic catalogue. We hunt for it. We look for the "imperfections" that factories cut away, the knots, the twists, the chaotic grain. That is where the soul of the tree lives. Standing in front of a raw slab, we don't see rough wood, we see the final dining table before the first cut is even made. It’s about respecting the material enough to let it speak for itself.

People ask us about the name. Truthfully? There is no ancient legend. Crown Point is just a neighborhood here in Hamilton. It’s the kind of place where people work hard and know their neighbors. And that fits us perfectly. We are real people, working in a real shop, building things that matter. No cool story, just good wood, honest work, and a team that loves what they do.
